CARLA OHIO COFFEE AND THINGS

The place is really nice and the staff are so friendly and so cool! Food always fresh and good Coffee is made with love! Only two annoying things.. in winter when it’s crowded you feel that there isn’t fresh air anymore, plus since they have an inside kitchen, so the food smell is always too strong.. I hope they find a solution for that because if you are just wanna enjoy a coffee then the smell will be really annoying.

(Visiting from USA) This is such an adorable little spot! Very inviting and service was spectacular! Ordered a simple Americano with oat milk , but they had breakfast and a lot of baked goods! Free Wi-Fi as well!

This is a great cafe! The food was delicious and so is the coffee. They also offer dairy free milk at no extra cost! The staff is friendly and there is both indoor and outdoor seating.

Honestly obsessed with this cafe. The employees are so generous and sweet. Plenty of seating outdoor and indoor. The hibiscus lemonade keeps me coming back daily. The first day I tried the yogurt bowl and it was delicious and packed with fruit. Dog friendly outdoors, not inside. Free WiFi. Perfectly place to come get some work done or relax while enjoying everything they have to offer.

This is hands down my favorite café in Kaiserslautern. The breakfast granola bowls are fresh and satisfying, and the dirty lavender lattes? Absolutely life-changing. Every visit feels like a small escape—great vibes, great flavors, every single time.

I've been coming here for about a year and I've never had a problem. The drinks and flavors are amazing, the service is good, and the presentation of food and drinks are picture-worthy if you're into that. All staff I've met are bilingual (English and German). It's also a great place to meet new people, read, or draw. I try to come here every time I go to Kaiserslautern.

The cafe made me wanna move to Kaiserslautern as it reminded me of the cafes back in Penang Atmosphere: Love the laid back atmosphere (sunny well lit ). They also have window seats so you can people watch as you drink your coffee or matcha. Really great versatile place to get things done on your laptop or have a coffee with a friend ! However , the weekends are laptop free day. Food: The kitchen is an open concept kitchen so I could smell my croissant before I ate it love it ! The menu was plastered on the wall and offered ala Carte or set meals. They also have a variety of matchas to pick from. They do change their menus ! I was lucky to have had the chance to try their strawberry matcha . Service : Service was top tier ! The waiter and waitress were friendly and talked us through their ordering system and were kind to adjust the drink according to my lactose sensitivity . They don’t charge their milk alternatives unlike some Cafes . You can see they put so much effort and passion into their coffee menu as there were so many different types of coffee flavors.As I mentioned I wish I could move to Kaiserslautern just so I can be regular at their cafe They only do card payments !

The ambience is very cozy and the open kitchen, plants and furniture also add to the look. I had the Schoko Erdnuss Kuchen which was absolutely delicious! Will definitely make a visit again.
